Wonder why its much nicer to daydream.
When will it be real to me
Taking care of business doesn't really heal me
Ticking clock and manias
Watching care turn to competition
Someone's on a mission
But it aint me

BUS

I was behind her
A child on the side
Inviting my naïve hide.

I was behind her
And lost what divides
The paper game

I was behind her
When I gave one.
She asked for two.
The child's eyes knew.

Looking

Beautiful woman dances for herself
While the beautiful woman who dances for everyone else
Looks for wandering eyes.
That's what I despise
A search for wandering eyes.

Have you noticed, its a slower rise
When searching for wandering smiles?
Have you noticed?
Have you tried?

When its time to take a break from old mistakes
And we hate to live a life of second takes
We look for the legend that isn't there
They never cared.

The guy, who always smiles
At the party half disguised
Shines in the corners of his wandering eyes.

Have you noticed its a slower rise?
Endless searching for wandering eyes?

Go On...

I think they're being fairly clear this month.
Substituting death for retribution, though satisfying for the persecuted,
next week, wont be enough.
Reading the web times drive, news archives from before I was the survived, I am stopped.
In my tracks.
Nostalgic tracks, yet, tracks at that. The news tracks my arms, my sleep.
I'm crying because i'm bleeding, but its for them I weep.
It lingers you know...like a dogs territory in the snow, cast out from this winter.
The Green House gitter.
Rests its case.
So I wasn't meant to understand it, follow it, study, nor fight its battles.
Yet it baffles me, how is my comic twist supposed to end this spree of fleeting news
that doesn't even hit the refrigerator magnet.
Back there, file boxed, so that one day i can simply "have it."

UNDERWATER

We're dangling,
seaweed thin our movements in the slow motion water wind.
Asymmetrically we soak up filtered love.
It's trickled down through memories of my grandpa's knees and glass magnified mothers eyes
Daddy's lies and my own disguise.
The water's ripples serve as transitional bliss.

Sun King

We're often clueless, especially while being creative. Offended by strides in time, errors, and beautiful mistakes. The time ends unaccounted for, errors OH SO LOUD, and the spontaneous beauty may never be repeated.
